As a designer & gamer, personal branding is an important aspect of building a successful career. It allows you to showcase your unique style and personality, and helps you stand out in a competitive market. This week, I learned more about how to effectively create and maintain a strong personal brand.
In the past, I have tried to build my brands through a portfolio website and through an online persona as a content creator on Twitch. Both of these approaches have helped me to showcase my work and share my passion for design with others.
At work, I have also had the opportunity to contribute to the branding of our organization. For example, I created a logo for our gaming semester that was used consistently throughout all of our materials. I also made sure to adhere to the rules outlined in our brandbook to ensure that our branding was consistent and professional.
Overall, I have learned that personal branding is an ongoing process that requires consistent effort and attention. By staying true to my own style and values, and consistently showcasing my work and skills, I can build a strong and effective personal brand that will help me to succeed as a designer.
